A Proper Roast on Hope Street
There are few finer ways to round off a weekend than a proper Sunday roast in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter. Every Sunday the kitchen turns out roast beef, roast chicken supreme and a mushroom & lentil roast for the vegetarians among us — with all the trimmings, cauliflower cheese and carrot & swede mash close at hand. Head upstairs to the Dining Room, washed in natural light through the summer and warmed by the fire when there’s a chill.
The Sunday menu — roasts included — is served every Sunday from 12pm, with a kids’ roast for smaller appetites. Sunday is our busiest day of the week, so booking ahead is wise, especially for larger tables.
Though we welcome dogs with open arms and a pocket full of treats, they are not allowed in our dining room.
